Short assignment about the news: this is for the yearbook

This assignment is for our yearbook:

Students will post two (2) images from the world wide web.  They will also include links to the news source.  The images are to be about news items in the world at the moment.  Try to think of items that are not too restricted to a particular country that few people would know.

Think of the following categories:

Wars going on
Music or movies that are popular
Sports
Fashion
